Chronology of munichfabricstart

1996: munichfabricstart Veranstaltugen GmbH is founded to form the enterprise and organisation aroudn munichfabricstart - pre collections. Founders and associates were Wolfgang Klinder, Florian von Obernitz and Klaus Pannier. munichfabricstart originated from the trade fair for sales representatives "Stoff München", which was maintenance concerning the future. The fair started off with 50 exhibitors each on 18 sqm booths inside Munich Order Centre M,O,C,. It focused on pre-order collections for the women's and men's market.

2004:The launch of bluezone inside Zenith Halle, a hall formerly used for the maintenance of trains, that is located just a few metres from M,O,C,. Each season this unique concept attracts 50 leading international manufacturers of denim, sport and street wear textiles along with textile finishing companies. The concept has inspired many
events in Europe.

2006: The emergence of asiasalon in Atrium 4 on top of hall 4 at M,O,C,. The area presents 62 premium Asian suppliers.

2007: In September more than 750 exhibitors from 30 nations present about 1,600 collections. Munich Order Center M,O,C, and Zenith Halle are fully occupied.
