Together with you we want to celebrate the trendy departure for winter 2010/2011. Be our guest at the 27th munichfabricstart. Come and get inspired by 765 international exhibitors and over 1,300 collections of the newest fabrics and accessories, spread about the M,O,C, and the Zenith hall with the bluezone. Visit the professional presentations about the trends and the status quo of the discussions around the topic ecology to be in tune with the time. The exact schedule is listed at the end of this newsletter.

Once again, we have enriched our offer of services for you:
mfs organicselection by munichfabricstart in hall 3 provides you with a pool of 320 certified fabrics, textiles and accessories from more than 50 exhibitors. The samples displayed there lead you directly to the booths of the manufacturers where you can get more detailed information to the specific fabrics. For more general questions concerning organic textiles and certifications our experts on site are glad to help you.
   
Showrooms with suppliers of full-packaging services are in atrium 4 above hall 4. They will help you with words and deeds when it comes to the worldwide complete business.

Celebrate with us the success of fairforkids. In Mai, only one and a half years after the project start, the first fairforkids-school-centre was inaugurated. Situated in the Indian Kathaparai, Karur District, the school centre was completely financed by the exhibitors of the munichfabricstart and the munichfabricstart exhibitions Ltd. At the information forum in the foyer you will get a deeper insight into the development of the project that was launched in cooperation with terre des hommes and Psycho Trust.

Check-in-Karte:
For the case that you do not have an entrance card yet, please come to the check-in counters in the foyer of the M,O,C,. Our hostesses will be happy to help you.

Catalogue & Colour card:
The fair catalogue and the colour card for the season autumn/winter 2010/2011 can also be bought at the check-in counters in the foyer. The reference guide is a useful compilation of addresses for the whole season. The price for the catalogue is 20€. The colour card costs 30€ and the trend pack, which is a combination of both costs 45€.

Free Coffee und Free Lunch:
We invite you to relax in one of our numerous coffee bars with all kinds of coffee delicacies. Free lunch starts from 1 pm in the asiasalon and in studio 2 (2nd floor), studio E/F. Moreover, the restaurant in the bluezone, Angolo Blue, also includes a beer garden.
The trend forums: An overview of the fashion
The different trend and sample areas at the munichfabricstart help you to orientate yourself in the upcoming season.
mfs For the first time, the new colour-forum in the foyer between hall 1 and 2 bundles all colour themes together, in order to create a compressed and comprehensive overview of the colour tendencies of the season autumn/winter 2010/2011.
   
mfs Located in the 4 entrance areas of hall 1, the trend areas present accessories and fabrics of the exhibitors. In hall 1 you can discover a whole world of creativity. In front of hall 4, the trend area for kidswear under the theme “Milky Way” will be arranged.
   
secondFLOOR“ is among others the territory of Italian high-class collections, all in their usual room. On the 2nd floor over atrium 4 in the corridors E and F, are also prestigious agencies as Glas, Berner & Sohn, Püttmann, Hornung, Max Müller, Isabella Rossi and tex-de-tails and moreover top-class companies like Gruppo Dondi, Bonotto, Erica, Pontetorto, Makimura, Redaelli Velluti, Blue Royal or Mectex.
   
At the entrance area to studio 2 you will discover a mysterious world. Under the theme “Daemons Paradise”, the trend area presents heavy, voluminous woollen fabrics, modern bouclés, and sneaky doublefaces in a mix of nature and techno, glimmering yarns, matelassés and quilt optics.
Arrival and departure:
If you are not moving by car or by taxi, then you can use good public means of transport.

Shuttlebus

A shuttle bus plies regularly between the airport Franz-Josef-Strauss, Terminal 2, bus terminal 24 and hall 3 of the M,O,C, . The first two days of the fair, the bus goes at 8:30 am from the airport to the munichfabricstart, the last day is goes at 9:15 am. Vice versa, the bus goes at 9:15 am the first two days of the fair. The last day the bus leaves at 2:30 pm. The exact timetable can be found on the homepage or at the counters in the foyer.

Underground:
Coming from the city center, it is easy and fast to reach the M,O,C, with the underground line 6 in the direction to Fröttmaning/Garching Forschungszentrum. The stop is called Kieferngarten, from where the fair is only five minutes away.
